As the clock strikes 6 in the morning there comes the first wake up call from my mother which is followed by a last warning call after a few minutes.After all these alerts slowly will slip in to the so called real world.Then starts the amazing race against time.Done with all the regular formalities in the morning with the all mighty's blessings i slowly drop a sight to the clock which shows 5 minutes for the college bus to arrive at the MJC stop(where i usually board the bus) in Manipal which is about a kilometer and a half from my house.The real racing starts now with a maximum speed of about 6okm/hr i reach my desired destination with much hurry.And somedays sadly i do tend to miss the college bus.In the bus i do make it a point to compensate for my disturbed sleep.And then in about an hour and a quarter i reach my college NMAMIT,Nitte.
Nitte a village near Karkala(Udupi dist) is an exciting place known for its prestigious college and also is surrounded by forest area which creates a nice peaceful atmosphere for studies with the chaos of the city apart.
With Lord Ganesha's Blessings at a temple situated at the front entrance of our campus i kick start my day.With full concentration i tend to start the first hour of the day but as the first hour progresses my mind slips in to its own world far away from the classroom.And it stays the same for the entire day.
The mouthwatering part comes next.After 4 hours of lectures the much needed lunch break is offered at 1pm.I rush to the canteen to get a plate of pulav.Actually i'm a fan of college canteen's pulav,no matter how much my friends criticize this food item (in our canteen especially) i like it.After a plate of pulav i usually go to the coffee shop to meet friends in other branches and a whole lot of them come there everyday at same time.
Next session of our day begins at 2 pm.Usually on friday's and tuesday's our batch students are free after the fisrst session.During those days i just have my lunch and then quickly escape to my city(Manipal) in a private bus.But apart from these days we have classes till 4 or 4:30 pm.During these days after finishing my regular classes i tend to go to library to passtime or to again canteen to have some evening chats,then i board my college bus which departs from our college at about 5:05 pm.During evening travel i tend to relax myself by listening to songs in my mp3 player or else if i'm very tired or bit unsatisfied about the day's outcome i just simply sit beside the window and get a nice breeze of air and slowly tend to slip in to a nap again which i enjoy doing the most.At about half past 6 in the evening i reach the knowledge city which also happens to be my homeplace Manipal.And within a minute or two i'll be there in my home ringing the calling bell.
This happens to be my daily college routine.
